What is a Micro Laser Peel Treatment?

Micro Laser Peels are a popular fractional ablative skin resurfacing technology that resurfaces skin and rejuvenates collagen with minimal downtime. Micro Laser Peels are an excellent procedure to treat fine lines and wrinkles, minimize the appearance of large pores, soften acne scarring and blend uneven pigment. It can be used on any skin type.

With this new technology, only a small portion of the skin (between 20%-30%) is treated, leaving the untreated skin to rejuvenate and repair the treatment area. Typically patients see improvement in as little as 1 week post treatment, with complete results seen in approximately 6 weeks.

How does the treatment work?

The skin is prepared and exfoliated prior to treatment. During the treatment patients report feeling a slight snapping sensation. After the treatment is completed the treated area feels like a mild sunburn. 3-5 treatments are performed at monthly intervals. Patients will have “social downtime” of approximately 5 days.

Can I treat other areas of my body?

Micro Laser Peels can be used on the neck and chest. It is also utilized to improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks on the body.
